Pewter Gifts Vs Silver Gifts

Quality pewter spoons will not tarnish like silver spoons. Our quality pewter salt bowls will not react with salt like silver salt bowls. Our contemporary pewter will not go grey like old pewter as it contains no lead. Silver gifts give the recipient a cleaning job, lead free pewter gifts do not. pewter boxes will not need polishing, silver boxes will. Glover and Smith contemporary pewter. Beautifully grained Olive wood heart shaped
cheese board with a lead free pewter ammonite
button and a Nautilus cheese knife.


Cheese board is 22cm across. Cheese knife
is 24 cm long with a Sheffield stainless blade.

If properly looked after, Olive wood will last a lifetime. To care for your board, we recommend that you:

  • Hand wash only, not suitable for dishwashers
  • Occasionallly coat with olive oil to prevent the wood from drying out
  • Do not leave soaking in water or exposed to heat or sunshine

To care and clean the pewter, simply wash with soapy water!
