Ammonite Symbolism and meaning

Ammonites are regarded as a symbol of good luck and good fortune. A symbol of wealth, they are believed to attract abundance and prosperity.

Did you know…
In medieval England ammonites were thought to be petrified snakes. Known as Snakestones or Serpentstones, they were believed to provide protection from snake bites.

Both ammonites are 12 mm (0.5”) wide and have Sterling silver wires.

Each pair of fossil drop earrings are packaged in a black presentation box and an organza pouch.

English Pewter Jewellery Handmade in the UK

Glover and Smith ammonite earrings are made from solid, polished lead-free English pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and are guaranteed nickel-free and allergen friendly. We use solid Sterling silver ear hooks.

Because we use solid metal the surface of your fossil earrings will never flake like a silver plated earrings. To clean just wash with warm soapy water and occasionally use a silver cloth on the silver wires.

All Glover and Smith pewter jewellery designs are handmade exclusively by us in Salisbury, Wiltshire, UK.
