Heart Meaning

Hearts are a symbol of love, but also vulnerability and the traditional heart shape has long been used as a symbol of a human being’s spiritual, emotional and moral care.

January Birthstone

Garnets are the birthstone for January and also celebrate the 2nd anniversary of marriage. Their deep red colour resembles pomegranate seeds and the name “garnet” actually comes from the Latin word “Garanatus,” meaning “seed like”.

Our little pewter heart-shaped box is 5 cm (1.9”) wide and is presented inside an organza pouch. However, if you select gift wrapping, the keepsake box will come in a gift wrapped black presentation box.

Heart Trinket Box

Every Glover and Smith personalised heart pewter trinket box is hand crafted from polished, solid pewter. Our modern pewter is completely lead-free so it won't tarnish like the pewter of years gone by which had a high lead content and a dull finish. It is also nickel-free and therefore hypoallergenic.   

Because our designs are all created in solid metal, the surface of your customised love heart box will never flake like a silver plated box. To clean, simply wash with warm soapy water.
