Acorn Small Sugar Spoon
Great English gifts
A delicate acorn sits atop a twig stem handle in this delightful little spoon.
Our pewter spoons are completely food friendly and your acorn spoon can be used for sugar, salt, tea, coffee, or anything you like!
Acorns only appear on adult trees, and thus are often a symbol of patience and the fruition of long, hard labour. They also symbolise luck, prosperity and growth and can also represent youthfulness strength and stability.
"Large streams from little fountains flow, Tall oaks from little acorns grow." - D. Everett
The oak tree represents the very essence of England and symbolises: hospitality, stability, strength, honour, eternity, endurance and liberty.
"The creation of a thousand forests is in one acorn." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
The acorn spoon is 9.2cm (3.6”) long and is packaged in a presentation box.
Each acorn spoon is cast from polished solid lead free pewter which unlike silver is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in the old pewter) and completely safe.
When creating our designs we use solid metal, so the surface of your acorn spoon will never flake or rust. To clean, simply wash with warm soapy water.
