"Large streams from little fountains flow, Tall oaks from little acorns grow." - D. Everett
Acorn Meaning
Acorns only appear on adult trees, and thus are often a symbol of patience and the fruition of long, hard labour. They also symbolise luck, prosperity and growth and can also represent youthfulness strength and stability.
The oak tree represents the very essence of England and symbolises: hospitality, stability, strength, honour, eternity, endurance and liberty.
"The creation of a thousand forests is in one acorn." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
The acorn spoon is 9.2 cm (3.6”) long and is packaged in a presentation gift box.
Acorn Gifts
Each acorn sugar spoon is hand crafted from polished, solid lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and completely nickel-free and food safe.
Because our designs are all created in solid metal, the surface of your acorn spoon will never flake like a silver plated spoon. To clean, simply wash with warm soapy water.
All our designs are made exclusively by us in workshops in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
