Chestnut Leaf Pewter Sugar Spoon, UK Handmade Spoons
A delicately textured and tactile Chestnut Leaf on a twig stemmed small pewter spoon.
Lead-free pewter is totally food friendly and the chestnut leaf spoon can be used for sugar, salt, tea, coffee, or anything you like!
The Chestnut, a deciduous hardwood tree of the beech family, symbolises: longevity, fertility, provision, abundance and invigoration.
Beech trees are members of the Fagaceae family. "Fagus" is derived from the Greek word, "to eat", possibly a reference to the tree's edible fruit.
Dreaming of sitting under a chestnut tree is symbolic of happy times ahead!
Our silver coloured chestnut leaf spoon is 10 cm (3.9”) long and comes packaged in a presentation box.
Each chestnut leaf spoon is hand crafted from polished, solid lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and completely nickel-free and food safe.
Because our designs are all created in solid metal, the surface of your chestnut leaf spoon will never flake like a silver plated spoon. To clean, simply wash with warm soapy water.
All our designs are made exclusively by us in our own workshops in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
