Gifts for pilots
Perfect gift idea for history and aviation lovers.
Not inspired by nature this time, but inspired by the few!
"Never in the field of human conflict, was so much owed by so many to so few." - Winston Churchill
There are other Spitfire cufflinks out there but we haven't seen any that have correctly captured the iconic wing shape of this stunning plane. Ours have been vetted by both RAF personnel and historians and have passed with..."flying colours!". (We supply various RAF WW2 sites and Churchill's Home at Chartwell with our Spitfire cufflinks)
"Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duty, and so bear ourselves that, if the British Empire and its Commonwealth lasts for a thousand years, men will still say, this was their finest hour." - Winston Churchill
Our wonderfully detailed and popular cufflinks make great presents for Father’s day, Valentine’s day or for any special occasion.
Each pewter Spitfire has a wingspan of 29mm (1.2”)
Each pair of spitfire cufflinks are packaged in a presentation gift box inside an organza bag.
Hand crafted Spitfire Gifts
Glover and Smith spitfire cufflinks are hand crafted from Solid polished lead free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and are guaranteed nickel free and allergen friendly. The moving cufflink fittings are made from solid 925 Sterling silver.
Because we use solid metal the surface of your spitfire aeroplane cuff links will never flake like a silver plated cufflinks. To clean just wash with warm soapy water and occasionally use a silver cloth on the silver mechanisms.
All G&S pewter and silver cufflink designs are handmade exclusively by us in Salisbury, Wiltshire.UK.
