"Thy bounty shines in autumn unconfined, and spreads a common feast for all that live." - James Thomson

Acorn and amber meaning

Acorns are a symbol of patience and the fruition of long, hard labour. They also represent luck, prosperity and growth; as well as youthfulness strength and stability.

Amber is believed to: balance emotions, attract good luck, eliminate fears and clear the mind.

The amber is 10 mm (0.4”) in diameter and the oak leaf is 15 mm (0.6”) wide

N.B. The oak leaf amber pendant comes with a choice of two chain lengths. The default setting is the 18” chain, but if you would prefer a longer necklace, please select the 22” chain in the “chain options” box above.

Each amber acorn and oak leaf necklace is packaged in a black presentation box and an organza pouch.

Hand crafted

All Glover and Smith necklaces are made from solid polished lead free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and are guaranteed nickel and allergen friendly. We use Sterling silver chain and jump rings for their strength.

Because we use solid metal the surface of your amber acorn necklace will never flake like a silver plated necklace. To clean just wash with warm soapy water and occasionally use a silver cloth on the silver components.

All G&S pewter designs are handmade exclusively by us in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
