English Pewter Spiral of Life Bowl and Spirals Pewter Spoon
Step back in time... with our stunning circular pewter spirals bowl and spoon set, based on the beautiful prehistoric stone carvings found all over Europe that pre-date both Stonehenge and the great pyramids of Giza. For inspiration we looked specifically at the spiral carvings on the entrance stone at Newgrange in Ireland.

Newgrange Spiral meaning
Spirals are one of the more common forms of British Neolithic art and the triple spiral (or triskele) is often called the 'Spiral of Life'.
It denotes the "three realms" - land, sea and sky, the cycle of life, death and rebirth and personal growth, human development and spiritual progress.
It is a positive ancient symbol representing eternity, change and growth; the very essence of life.
The spirals bowl is 8 cm (3.1”) wide and the matching small spoon is 7.2 cm (2.8”) long.
Our Spiral of Life bowl and spoon set is packaged in a black presentation gift box with care instructions.
UK Handmade Pewter Spiral Designs
Every Glover and Smith spiral of life bowl and spoon set is handmade from polished, solid lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and completely nickel-free and food safe.
Because our designs are all created in solid metal, the surface of your spirals bowl will never flake like a silver plated bowl. To clean, simply wash with warm soapy water.
All Glover and Smith pewter spiral designs are made exclusively by us in our workshops in Salisbury, Wiltshire. UK.
