Tableware gifts for shell lovers.
The silver coloured harp shell bowl is ideal for salt, sugar, mustard etc. The accompanying spoon has a sea shell bowl and a small shell finial on an entwined handle.
Perfect birthday, wedding or Christmas presents and an ideal 10th Tin anniversary gift (our pewter is 95% tin).
The harp shell is a genus of molluscs belonging to the gastropoda and the whelk family. The species are found around the Indian Ocean, most notably Mauritius. The shells are very attractive and are so called from the form of their ornamental ribs which resemble a harp.
"Today is like a newly found seashell, hold it close and listen to its beauty." - Anon.
The harp shell bowl is 7.4 cm (3”) long and the little shell spoon is 6.8 cm (2.7”) long.
All our bowl and spoon sets are packaged in a black presentation gift box with care instructions.
Every Glover and Smith harp shell bowl & spoon is handmade from polished, Solid lead free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and completely nickel free and food safe.
Because our designs are all created in Solid metal, the surface of your shell bowl will never flake like a silver plated bowl. To clean, simply wash with warm soapy water.
All G&S pewter bowls and spoons are designed and made exclusively by us in our own workshops in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
