Hare Gifts

The Hare keepsake box makes a great 10th Tin wedding anniversary present (our pewter is 95% tin), However, it could also be used to commemorate any anniversary, for example it could conceal a paper message for a first (paper) anniversary gift, or a small wooden item for the fifth (wood) anniversary. They also make perfect gifts for Christmas, birthdays, engagements, bridesmaids, graduations or any special occasion. 

Hare meaning

Hares are a symbol of fertility, intuition, rebirth, promise and fulfilment, so it makes an ideal little Easter or Springtime gift.

The box is 50 mm (2") in diameter and 55 mm high (2 1/4"). Our makers marks are on the under-side of the box body and is packaged in an organza pouch. However, if you select gift wrapping, the trinket box will come in a gift wrapped black presentation box.

Hare Ornaments

Each Glover and Smith personalised pewter hare trinket box is hand crafted from polished, solid pewter. Our modern pewter is completely lead-free so it won't tarnish like the pewter of years gone by which had a high lead content and a dull finish. It is also nickel-free and therefore hypoallergenic. 

Because our designs are all created in solid metal, the surface of your customised hare box will never flake like a silver plated box. To clean, simply wash with warm soapy water.
