Oak Tree Symbolism

The Oak is England’s national tree. Strong, mighty, steadfast and enduring, the oak tree symbolises hospitality, stability, strength, honour, eternity, endurance and liberty.

The oak leaf coaster is 88 mm (3 1/2") in diameter and comes packaged in an organza bag with care instructions. However, if you select gift wrapping, the coaster will come in a gift wrapped black presentation box.

Drinks Coasters

Every Glover and Smith oak leaf coaster is handmade from polished, solid lead-free English pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and completely nickel-free and food safe.

Because our designs are all created in solid metal, the surface of your oak coaster will never flake like a silver plated coaster. To clean, simply wash with warm soapy water.
