Acorn and Oak leaf meaning

Acorns are a symbol of patience and the fruition of long, hard labour. They also represent luck, prosperity and growth. Enduring and steadfast, strong and mighty, the oak tree is the national tree of England and symbolises: hospitality, stability, strength, honour, eternity, endurance and liberty.

The Great Oaks from little acorns grow pendant is 30mm (1.2”) wide. Solid silver 18” (46cm) chain as standard. 22” (56cm) available.

All our necklaces come packaged in a presentation box inside and an organza bag.

Hand crafted

Every piece of Glover and Smith jewellery is handmade from polished solid pewter which is non-tarnishing and is guaranteed lead, nickel and allergen free. We use solid Sterling Silver chain and jump rings for their strength.

Because we use solid pewter the surface of your great oaks necklace will never flake. To clean, just wash with warm soapy water and occasionally use a silver cloth on the silver components.

In 2019 Glover & Smith celebrates 25 years of Pewter making.
