One hundred years ago, there were about ten million African elephants and 100,000 Asian elephants. These numbers have plummeted in the last century and right now there are approximately only 400,000 elephants left in the world. - World Wildlife Magazine.
The mighty elephant is a symbol of strength and power. It is also renowned for its size, longevity, stamina, mental faculties, cooperative spirit, and loyalty.

All Glover and Smith necklaces are made from solid polished lead free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and are guaranteed nickel and allergen friendly. We use Sterling silver chain and jump rings for their strength.
Because we use solid metal the surface of your elephant necklace will never flake like a silver plated necklace. To clean just wash with warm soapy water and occasionally use a silver cloth on the silver components.
