Pewter Handmade in Wiltshire
All our jewellery designs are handmade from solid polished lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and are guaranteed nickel and allergen-free. We make Sterling silver jump rings to attach the pewter components to the chain. The chain used on this design is much longer and thicker than our other necklaces. It is a 30 inch (76 cm) Hallmarked Sterling Silver 2.5 mm Belcher chain. The chain is long enough to be taken on and off over the head.
Using solid pewter means that the surface of your oak leaf and acorn necklace will never flake like a silver plated necklace. Just wash with soapy water and occasionally use a silver cloth on the silver components.
All Glover and Smith Pewter necklace designs are made exclusively by us in our Studio Workshops near Salisbury in Wiltshire.
