The Lotus is considered one of the world’s most sacred flowers as it has a life cycle unlike any other. With its roots based in mud, it submerges every night into murky river water, and miraculously re-blooms the next morning without residue on its petals.

Although different cultures have their own interpretations of this daily process, there is a general consensus that the Lotus symbolises spiritual enlightenment and rebirth. 

The distinctive dried seed heads, which resemble the spouts of watering cans, are widely sold throughout the world for use in flower arrangements and other decorative purposes.

The silver coloured lotus seed pod handle is 3 cm (1.2”) tall and 2.5 cm (1”) wide. Each has a projection of 2.1 cm (0.8”). 

Each seed pod handle comes with a 4.5 cm (1.8”) long machine screw with a 4 mm (M4) thread. This can then be cut to the desired length.

Because our drawer pulls are all cast and hand finished in solid metal, the surface of your lotus seed door knobs will never flake like plated, base metal handles. To clean our pewter door handles, simply wipe with warm soapy water.
