Unusual Christening gifts
The silver coloured egg cup features the lovely natural texture of an acorn cup and when an egg is placed in it, it has the appearance of an acorn.
The egg cup has the English proverb "Great oaks from little acorns grow" around the inner base. The specially designed spoon has a delicate oak leaf finial and rests in grooves on top of the acorn cup.
A lasting keepsake for both child and family.
This charming Christening gift for boys and girls is a lasting keepsake, designed to be used and appreciated later in their adult life, long after the baby toys have been outgrown and handed on.
The certificate does not specify Christening so it can be given for other occasions too.
Acorns are a symbol of strength, potential, fertility and immortality. They remind us to look deep inside and discover the seed of something wonderful that is yet to develop. It will take time, persistence and the right nurturing, but something magnificent is waiting inside that precious acorn.
Acorns are also considered to be a lucky symbol, representing prosperity, youthfulness, power and spiritual growth.
The egg cup is 4.5 cm (1.8”) in diameter and 2.5 cm (1”) tall and the spoon is 12.5 cm (4.9”) long.
The acorn egg cup comes with a certificate and a presentation box.
Handmade Pewter Egg Cup and Pewter Spoon
