Q. How long will my order take to arrive?

Q. How much are the delivery charges?
A. All UK deliveries incure a charge of £3.25 postage. Uk orders over £70 are post free. Orders sent to European destinations are charged at £7 and for the Rest of the World £10.
Q.Is my payment secure?
A. Yes, your card details do not come through to us but to Worldpay by secure server. For more information go to worldpay.com
Q.Do you take American Express?
A. No, pretty much everything but.
Q. Is the pewter safe with food and can it be used with salt, vinegar etc?
A. Yes it is safe to use as it does not react to any foodstuffs including salt. Long term salt storage to be avoided.
Q. I'm very sensitive to certain metals, how do I know I will be okay with your jewellery?
A. All our jewellery is lead and nickel free, these elements are the usual cause of reactions, We use Sterling silver wire for our loops, studs and chains. Judy Glover is very sensitive to metal and wears our jewellery regularly, with no ill effects.
Q. Do you supply a giftwrapping service for expats to send gifts to their UK relatives and friends?
A. Yes we do. If you are an expatriate living in Spain, Portugal, France, Majorca, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa in fact any country in the world we can send a high quality British made gift to friends and relatives in the UK with a hand written message.
Q. I have been given a discount code, how do I use it?
A.You need to have registered with us and be logged in before the discount code box will be offered on checkout.
Q. My offer includes a free item, but it does not appear in my basket or at checkout, is this normal?
A. Yes the item is added when your order is packed if your order qualifies for the offer.
Q. I've seen items similar to yours in Prince Charle's Highgrove Shops. How is that?
A. We make a special range of pewter designs for Highrove.
Q. I've been given a gift voucher how do I use it.?
A. You need to be registered and logged in to be offered the box in checkout, then enter the code.
Q. I live near Salisbury and I want to pick up my order and not pay for postage.
A. Order as normal, pay for postage and leave a note in the comments box that you wish to pick up from the showroom. We will contact you when the order is ready and refund the postage costs to the card you used to pay with.

What does Glover and Smith do with your data?
We only have data from customers that have ordered from us before or those who have requested to be on our mailing list or have registered on our website. This is within the ‘Legitimate interest’ clause in the GDPR legislation.
We have never bought a mailing list or passed any customer email addresses to a third party.
Details of any customer orders are held on a secure encrypted server in the UK.
Financial information for your website transactions are handled by worldpay.com. We never see these details and only have access to their portal to issue refunds and part refunds.
If payment details are given over the telephone, card payment details are shredded after the payment has been made.
Email marketing, new designs, offers etc are all done through a mailing house ‘your mailing list provider’ (YMLP). Every email communication carries an unsubscribe box, if pressed YMLP will delete you from our data for ever. YMLP data is held on an encrypted server within the EU.
There is also the ability to unsubscribe and subscribe to our mailers at the bottom of our homepage.
When we will share your data?
Sometimes we have to share your data with third parties in order to provide a better service for you. For example, we will give your address to a courier so they can deliver your order. (Not email or telephone)
