Bird Gifts

Tableware gifts for bird lovers.

“Two little dickie birds, sitting on a wall, One named Peter, one named Paul.”

The silver coloured bird bowl and spoon set is ideal for sugar, salt, cream, mustard etc.

Perfect Christmas, birthday or wedding presents and an ideal 10th Tin anniversary gift (our pewter is 95% tin).

Wren Meaning & Symbolism

This active little bird symbolises wisdom and divinity. Its symbolic meanings also include activity, vibrancy, alertness and efficiency.

Did you know…
In the original Two Little Dickie Birds rhyme, the birds were blackbirds called Jack and Gill. These names seem to have been replaced with the apostles Peter and Paul in the 19th century.

The pewter bowl is 9 cm (3.5”) in diameter and 2.8 cm (1.1”) in depth. The bird is 1.5 cm (0.6”) tall and the matching spoon is 10 cm (4") long.

Each of our little bird bowl and spoon sets are presented in a black presentation gift box with care instructions.

Bird Watching Gifts

Every Glover and Smith bird bowl and spoon set is hand made from polished, solid lead-free English pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and completely nickel-free and food safe.

Because our designs are all created in solid metal, the surface of your wren bowl and spoon will never flake like a silver plated bird bowl. To clean, simply wash with warm soapy water.

All Glover and Smith pewter wren designs are made exclusively by us in our workshops in Salisbury, Wiltshire UK
