Acorn and Oak Meaning
Acorns are a symbol of patience and the fruition of long, hard labour. They also represent luck, prosperity and growth; as well as youthfulness stability and strength.
Enduring and steadfast, strong and mighty, the oak tree is the very essence of England and symbolises: hospitality, stability, strength, honour, eternity, endurance and liberty.
"Large streams from little fountains flow, Tall oaks from little acorns grow." - D. Everett
The oak leaf is 15 mm (0.6”) wide and the little acorn is 14 mm (0.5”) tall
N.B. The acorn and oak leaf pendant comes with a choice of two chain lengths. The default setting is the 18” chain, but if you would prefer a longer necklace, please select the 22” chain in the “chain options” box above.
Each oak leaf and acorn necklace is packaged in a black presentation box and an organza pouch.
Nature Gifts
All Glover and Smith jewellery is handmade from solid polished lead-free English pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and are guaranteed nickel-free and allergen friendly. We use Sterling silver chain and jump rings for their strength.
Because we use solid metal the surface of your acorn and oak leaf necklace will never flake like a silver plated necklace. To clean just wash with warm soapy water and occasionally use a silver cloth on the silver components.
All Glover and Smith pewter designs are handmade exclusively by us in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
